“So you’re really leaving?” he asked.
“I am.”
He was never much of a hugger, but he brought me into his arms and held me as I felt myself unravel.
“Are you doing it for you?” he asked.
I nodded my head, “yes, but for all the wrong reasons.”

Death approached me and took a seat beside me. He sipped on his coffee before finally saying a word.

“Live,” he said.
